They will start charging for parking on March 1st 2008 to cover NJ transit cost at all 4 wayne(willowbrook/route 46/route 23) park n rides. I am hearing daily will be $2 and montly will be $25 (I read this in this past saturdays paper). Also some spots will be for montly parking only. I think that will be an issue cause if all the monthly spaces are taken then you are forced to use a daily space which is not cost effective if you park there everyday. I use to park at the Mothers route 23 north lot and it never was full (approx. 900 spaces) and I use to get there sometimes at 730am and late as 2pm when I wanted to go into NYC. link is below

Does anyone know what times daily Willowbrook Park & Ride spots fill up or how quickly monthly passes sell out? I get on a bus around 9 am and Wayne Transit Center is filled up. Also, monthly parking passes were sold out several days prior to month I wanted.
It seems in order of quality of service (commute time and bus frequency), the Park and Rides are ranked as follows:
1) Willowbrook
2) Wayne Transit Center
3) Mothers (doesn't even run after 9:45 so you will have to presumably pay for parking at another lot if you leave then even if you paid for a monthly pass)
