I am looking for a reasonable apartment in south bergen county. I can't stand where I live. Tenants don't think. They turn their music on at 10:30 pm and have company till midnight. Then they go out and come back at 3:00 am and keep my up till 5:00 am. Well that's my miserable story. The co-op has a list of rules that state 10 pm cut off for noise. I wish there was someone who knew of a 55+ rental I could get into, preferably income based. Ill be 55 next month. I live on a pension so I can't afford a lot. That's way I'm looking for senior. If you know someone who is looking for a quiet tenant here I am. I have an 18 year old but he is also quiet. I don't allow music out of respect to other people, even tho he doesnt listen to any. I also am having some health issues so I can't deal with young people blasting music and having company till all hours of the night. I hope someone can help me find a quiet apartment.

I dont have any specific ideas, but craigslist.com is a very good place to look for housing. It updates constantly through the day.
Good luck

You might want to try NJ's affordable housing site: nj.gov/dca/coah or go to nj.gov
and click on the house icon that reads affordable housing. You can check out both rentals and purchases. There are even some senior living.

I can't afford much. My main concern is peace and quiet. I would say $700 or $750. I know that's feasible down South Jersey, especially the senior developments but I don't want to be far from my older parents. They live in Lyndhurst. As I write this I hear the idiot downstairs playing darts. Lol. HELP!!!!!!!

rent.com
apartments.com
craigslist.com

or, what I suggest doing would be is going to a search engine (ex. google) taking the town/city (or even county) you would like to live in, typing said town/city in the search box, followed by "AND", and then apartments or rentals.

Ex: "Wyckoff AND rentals"

NO darts do not bother me. I was just making a point to show how thin the walls are. If u think I'd hate being your neighbor its probably cause you're one of the rude inconsiderate ones.

You like to have fun at the expense of others. Like I said, you're one of the inconsiderate ones. I didn't ask for your input. I'm looking for housing. So mind your own business.
