they wanted people to believe that one month out of decades or murders was a positive trend and attributed to CB and his policies. Odd that the newark's murder rate was hovering around 2 a week during CB's tenure.

the title of this thread, 'is newark improving' is another false flag for political advantage.

an honest lead would be, 'infusion of newark business continues'.

In
no way does the littany of commerce in newark qualify as an improvement in newark's quality of life. 26 sq miles of territory most of it unsafe due to gangs and drugs. the car jacking capital of the country off and on.

Nj needs newark to improve, false marketing does not do newark or NJ any favors as it implies nothing else need be accomplished excpet of commercial influx.
Exactly. I would love to know who made this thread.

Actually I made this thread, genuinely asking if Newark, a city that I visited often as a kid, is improving. Since you are so worried about the reasons behind this thread, i wanted to know if crime is decreasing, development increasing, etc.

So, WHATS YOUR PROBLEM????

Default Is Newark improving?

If going from a Dodge Aries K with vinyl seats to one with cloth seats is improvement, then yes

The offered title: 'infusion of Newark business continues' actually isn't a bad one; but I don't understand the dislike of the current thread title: 'is Newark improving?' Whatever implied, it's still just a question, not a statement. It just seems some read too far into it (and it's not like their opinions would change anyway).

For the people that have the negative opinion of Newark: Have you visiting the Ironbound or downtown in the last year or two?

How is the development BAD for the city? These are steps in the right direction.

You people are seriously over thinking the title, "Is Newark Improving" those 3 words is exactly what i meant. Pretty basic question, but someone always has to complain about something right? Some people are just always miserable.
