well everyone seems to put Jersey city in the dumps abut i've lived ther for 13 years and that was the best times of my life . now i live in bayonne and i hate it here . thers some ppl who might like it in Bayonne. But Jersey city is an good place to live . If someone never lived in a place they shouldnt comment . because a place might end up being better than an persons comments . well i reccomend living ther for a month or two and see how it is . you never know it might be the best move of your life .

Moving to Jersey City. We will be living on Waverly Street. Does anyone know anything about this area? Is the crime rate high is it a really bad area?

That street is in The Heights neighborhood. It's a decent area. Crime shouldn't be too much of a problem.

sleepy blue collar area. One of the safer neighborhoods in JC.
