Good morning everyone. So, I wanted to ask the resident experts about any websites or information sources for finding live music, concerts in NJ. For concerts -- I know I can go to PNC website and find out anything about upcoming concerts -- but that's just one venue. Same with Prudential or Izod.

What about live music, bands, local or otherwise? Instead of going to twenty different restaurant/bar websites, or twenty different bands...see my point? Even on the concert side, I just saw very recently that Lynyrd Skynyrd will be at Empire Casino.

For concerts -- Stub Hub is a pretty decent website to find upcoming concerts at a variety of venues. What about live music?

Thank you in advance.

I found this site which I've never checked before:

NJ Concert Tickets - NJ Concert Calendar - Buy NJ Concert Tickets

But there are also may county and town sites for instance Union County Arts and various towns have weekly and some more than weekly music concerts free.

For instance Woodbridge has free concerts several times each week, all summer,

Woodbridge Wednesdays 2015 summer schedule

Linden and Rahway also have their weekly free concerts:

Rahway has free outdoor concerts every Thursday night during the summer, etc

For Central Jersey try: PrincetonInfo

It lists all kinds of events, not just music, but you can limit the search to music (even by genre.)

Thanks to both of you.

For concerts -- well known bands, I don't have a problem checking PNC's website, IZOD, Live Nation, etc. Only a few good ones.

However, I was looking more for bands -- that perform at bars/restaurants/etc. I don't want to have to check 20 websites to see how is playing there. Nor do I want to check 20 bands' websites or facebook pages.

Any other ideas? Thank you.

For the shore area, check the Asbury Park Press website. They list local music in their print edition on Friday, so it must be in the online content, too. Www.app.com

You can try Pollstar, but I'm not sure how many small venues in NJ (such as restaurants) are included in the listings.

I use it to see who's playing in a city when I travel.
