Two options - to google it yourself or ask folks on CD and have them google it for you

You could also check with the neighbors.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I bet that if you call this number before 4:00 p.m., you'll get your answer:

908-322-8236

Let us know how it turns out

Thanks, I just called but the message didn't include anything about garbage collection. I do know that the town doesn't provide such service and private companies are. I just hoped someone say, "I'm using XXX company and highly recommend them."

That's okay. I have plenty of time to figure this out (next weekend when I go over to the house, I'll ask my neighbor.)

I recently moved to Westfield and have been using DeLuca Disposal out of Scotch Plains. I have been very happy with their pricing and service.

Check out FB groups (for Scotch Plains/Fanwood, or one of the neighboring towns like Westfield, Clark, etc). Plenty of discussion and recommendations there.

I have never lived in a town that doesn't provide garbage pickup. Out of curiosity, how much do private companies charge? Do they pick up every week?

See the list on Cranford's website. There is a good chance these companies might also service Fanwood.
