Where can I find flood maps for Cranford? not finding anything readablbe online. Not familiar with the streets at as I am not from there so something easy to read.

While they're not fully up to date, I found the evacuation maps from the police department to be much more useful when home shopping: Hurricane Sandy: Cranford police issue mandatory evacuation of flood zone | NJ.com

This FEMA website will give you the most up to date info on what properties are located within a flood zone. IIRC it was updated this past spring, after all the revisions done post Sandy. Simply enter the address of the home you are considering, and it will let you know whether or not the home is located in a flood plain. https://msc.fema.gov/portal
