Hello everyone

The ticket mentions that my car was parked too close from a crosswalk. I opened my driver manual and I found that it is a violation to park "within 25 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection or side line of a street". First off I don't understand what side line means (I am a french student). Also, I am not sure if I was in an intersection as it is referred in the quote above. The intersection was not a cross, but rather a T, and I indeed was parked at around 3 feet from the crosswalk, but I wasn't parked on the side of the intersection, but on the other side. If I may give a picture, I was parked on the horizontal bar of the T, and more precisely on the first left half of the horizontal bar, before the crosswalk which was right before the intersection. Did I violate the law? Thank you very much for your help.

Sounds to me like you may have broken that law. At least parking tickets do not carry any other penalties such as license points nor do they show up on your records.
