Can you recommend a good, yet inexpensive restaurant/eatery in Hoboken, NJ? Looking to spend a max of $40 total before the tip. Any cuisine is fine. Also what else is there to see in Hoboken on a typical weekend? I'd probably be going next weekend, so hopefully some place that doesn't get too packed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Any recommendations? I'd be going into Hoboken via the PATH, going to the park and for some quick lunch, and then getting right back on the path on the same day.
There are dozens of restaurants along Washington St within walking distance to PATH. I'd just cruise down the street to view posted menus and find a place that isn't too long a wait.
yea there really are endless restaurants. What are you doing in hoboken? Why going just to eat and come back? Your probably better off going to the city or even jersey city(much better food IMO).
But if i had to recommend a place i would say la isla. But on a weekend, restaurants, and hoboken in general will be packed.
Charittos
zaffras
madison(if you go early)
margheritas
benny tudinos(great pizza)
Johnny Pepperoni (Italian... And BYOB, always a plus)
Arthur's Tavern (steakhouse)
The Cuban
Charritos (Mexican)

1 Republik (nice place with your typical bar food...but it does get insanely packed at night. Great beer selection)
I'm from NYC so I don't need to go there. Will be in that park close to that PATH train entrance and said..."Well, should probably eat while we're out here as well", so that's why I was looking for recommendations, and I thank you guys for all of them
+1 on the recommendation for Amanda's - their food and service is excellent!
