I currently have NJM Insurance for Auto, Home and Condo. I know it's suppose to be a favorite for NJ insurance, I was wondering about other carriers with good rates and customer service. I already got a quote from Allstate and Costco's Ameriprise, and the quote was higher. My homeowners from NJM went up 20%, just received my new policy. Rep said the recent events including Sandy had to do with it, yet I had no claims. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I'm looking to get the deduction that comes when getting both auto and home insurance. TIA

Agree. When you factor the dividend payments NJM sends every year, it's still lower than everyone else. Did you opt for NJM's home replacement cost analysis? That saved me $150 per year.

I have Geico for auto and homeowner's. I got a quote from NJM and it was several hundred dollars a year higher than Geico. How much does NJM pay out in dividends?
