I am new to Hamburg and we love it so far. I am really looking foward to the warmer months and was wondering if there is alot going on in the area during the warmer months? Also, are there any public lakes we can go to? Any info would be appreciated!

You are in the "Land of Lakes" up in Hamburg. Plenty of lakes to visit as well as Action Park - water park up in Vernon. I would google Sussex County asI'm sure you'll find plenty of information on which lakes are open to the public : )

Most of the lake communities are private, as stated you can go to Action Park
or Waywayanda State Park........also there's the Farm and Horse Show held every year in August over in Branchville......you can
go to High Point State Park, North on Route 23 and follow signs......they have a nice lake, picnic tables and its the hgihest elevation
in NJ you can see forever.

You can go to the "Hooters" on Route 23. That's a family style environment!
