and if you've never been there, it's much, much more than just the house. Anyway, I was walking into the Elvis "car collection" museum and the ticket taker asked my SIL and me where we were from. Obviously answered "NJ". He looked at us, and said "Well, you must be from the Central or Southern part!". To which we answered, "Actually, no.". I also said I grew up right outside NYC. He was absolutely dumbfounded - "you certainly don't SOUND like you're from Northern NJ!". Obviously that was a compliment.

Busting NJ myths - one person at a time!

The guy standing next to him (another worker) started chatting us up about his NJ experiences - he went on and on about how lovely Westfield was.

Didn't stay at the Heartbreak Hotel but saw it. We stayed 2 blks from Beale and partied there Friday/Saturday night (and watched the Phils lose from one of the bars ).

Graceland was one of those places you have to see to believe. They've taken one man's life and just "exploited" (not really the right word) the hell out of it. It's really interesting but strange. Women crying, the whole nine yards. Never have seen so much merchandise outside of Disney. It was PACKED.

Had a great time though - if you go, drop me a note and I'll give you the lowdown. Will post pixs on FB.
