I recently drove through Montclair on Bloomfield Avenue and it brought back many memories. I had a friend that lived in a really beautiful townhome in Montclair in the early 1980's that was just off Bloomfield Avenue on the left hand side going towards Verona/Caldwell. I thought I could easily find it, but I had some difficulty remembering. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the street that I made a left on all those years ago. I was wondering if any townhomes in Montclair have been torn down because of any redevelopment. I know this is a long shot, but maybe there is someone out there that knows what I'm talking about. It was a three floor townhome with one of the floors being a large finished basement. Three bedrooms and a kitchen in the front. There were also balconies off the bedrooms. I thought maybe it was the townhomes on Carriage Way, but I don't think the townhome I am thinking of was brick. I am thinking white or grey siding with a bow/bay window in front. Thanks to anyone who can help.
