Is there much of a difference in terms of quality of life, schools, and resident perks? I know that's broad, sorry. We're between two properties in the two different towns. From what I can see, West Caldwell taxes seem lower. West Caldwell library & pools seem nicer. Caldwell has more businesses, and a sought-after section ("Cedars"?) near Grover Cleveland Park. A neighbor adjacent to the property we're seriously considering said Caldwell elementary schools are "better". Can residents from one Caldwell use the facilities of the other? Thanks

These towns are so small it's not going to make any difference from one to the other.

Whatever you do, don't mispronounce "West Caldwell":

I don't think elementary schools in Caldwell are "better" than the ones in West Caldwell. They are all good schools. Actually Wilson School in West Caldwell has better reputation. They will all end up go to the same middle / high school so I don't think that matters.

I live in West Caldwell and have family membership in Caldwell Community Center and go to the library in Roseland.
