That's in Sussex County Delaware.

I used to live in a town in Bergen County. Somehow in the early 60's they passed an ordinance that you couldn't park anything larger than a 1/2 ton pickup in your driveway. There were lot's of masons, carpenters, etc in the town. One guy drove a school bus for the next town and parked it in his driveway. (They owned a 10 acre farm).
Well this beach got on the town council and started raising hell about her neighbor the mason with his noisy dump truck.

It seems people like to move out to the country to "get away from the city, then get on the planning boards, town council, etc. Then they want sidewalk, shade trees, have ordinances about livestock, (we had sheep that kept our 6 acres "mowed") horses, etc. Then they complain, "it's too much like the city".

When we moved to NJ many moons ago, we bought a typical 4 bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom colonial with a 2 car garage and all in an area that was considered suburban. My father had his business which he owned a refrigerated box car truck. Neighbors soon began to complain about the truck in the driveway, which was big enough to fit a few cars though the truck didn't fit in the garage due to height. It is off the street so what is the problem?

The problem is these local governments are all corrupt and builders want to go into these areas and offer them money which they won't turn down. Now everyone complains about overcrowding issues. Everyone wants to be the last person that moves into their area, then they start raving about it by word of mouth and everyone else follows suit. Hypocrites. No wonder people in NJ are so miserable.
