Hi, thanks for your response in advance. We are both newly retired, have rescued dogs, husband originally from Middletown and me from N. Jersey originally. Looking to move back to NJ. Love the beach (summers in Lavallette as a child). Would love to build but no place to do so.
Is it nuts to be looking for a house around Middletown and in maybe Pt. Pleasant and spending 6 months in each? Are they so close to each other even in summer traffic? Think I'm priced out of rest of Ocean County and husband can't drive far between houses. Do people in Pt. Pleasant go to the beach in Bay Head?
Does anyone put elevators in colonials in Middletown to avoid stairs? Hard to find a decent ranch.
