ocean city nj, wildwood, or cape may, would be a better choice, atlantic city has nice casinos like the Borgata but any motels in atlantic city may be full of druggies and hookers.

Just Google "Atlantic City motel murders" and you will see one reason why we are all recoiling at the very thought of anyone wanting to go there. Try Ocean City if you are looking for a nice beach town full of tourists. Off-season, OC is my favorite place on the planet. (She said like a true Jersey Girl. LOL) You can see AC from OC, so the trip between them is pretty short, if you are in a gambling mood.

Insulting people is only going to get you banned. Obviously the poster means Ocean City, NJ, not MD. I gave you the map showing the towns. Don't play dumb. Instead, LEARN. Knowledge is a good thing.

Not in the way one thinks of beach towns along the Jersey Shore, no. Most beach towns have vacation homes, amusements, are family-oriented. A.C. is mostly a rundown slum where your things might get stolen on the beach while you're in the water.

People aren't going to take their kids there for vacation. Even young adults who want a beach scene with clubs and bars are going to pick nicer, safer, cleaner beach towns to visit. Atlantic City is just vastly different from what you think of when you hear "beach town".
