Anyone know the best way to get from Frenchtown to Tewskbury (municipal buildings) in the AM avoiding 78? I have been trying different routes, trying to find best way to get onto Sawmill Road. Any back road ways anyone could suggest? Also, how long (much longer) would this be than 78? (Exit 15 to 24). Will be leaving Frenchtown at 7:15 AM, and Tewksbury at 4:45 PM.
Thanks!

Have you tried the obvious Google Maps? EeeeeEeevil Racist Google Maps.
You can just plug in your start and end points and try various options.

Looks like only 2 or 3 choices anyway, then you run out of roads anyway:

You have never heard of Frenchtown?
Really?
(Please note that the town fathers favor the use of a capital letter at the beginning of the town's name.)

Frenchtown is a bucolic hamlet in Hunterdon County, situated on the Delaware River, about 15-20 minutes West of Flemington. Minette's chocolate shop in Frenchtown is my go-to place just before Valentine's Day each year, but there are also a couple of decent restaurants in this cute little town.
