Hello - I am considering moving to Rigdewood, but am unclear on how the commute would work from there to Downtown Manhattan (World Financial Center). Please share your thoughts/ experiences. Thanks.

Take the train from Ridgewood to Hoboken, then take PATH to the WFC.

What ira said, except to add that you also have the option to take the ferry to WFC from Hoboken Terminal.

Ferry brings you to a terminal a few minutes walk from the WFC entrance.

PATH brings you into the World Trade Center station, and then you'd have to cross over 9A/West Street to get to the WFC. There is a pedestrian bridge on the south end of the site for this. Eventually you will be able to walk from PATH underground to the WFC.
