I have family coming in this weekend and we want to go visit the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk this Sunday. I've never been there. How early do I need to get there in order to get decent parking? And is parking a far walk from the boardwalk? Thanks!

Street parking is catch as catch can any time day or night near the rides. You get there late and can't find a spot in the large lot you might have to walk a mile or so. I'd try to get there before ten.
