I wouldn't worry about church street. It's a very nice nightlife/commercial area, I would assume the crime stats there are more business and alcohol related.

The only truly bad part of montclair is Mission St. Which is south of the bay street station

Good to know. I'm boring enough where I'm usually home by 10 pm so hopefully nothing too bad will happen to me

oi, All trainstations are about the same. bay street exits to Bloomfield ave. so that answers your question about the safety for the train station.

The area of bay station seems to be inhibited by a low socioeconomic class. This is the area you might feel least comfortable in. But train station itself and it's exit to Bloomfield ave is as safe as any other among this track.

My ex girlfriend lives across the street from you, we are still friends. I have some relatives that live by the museum as well.

I am by the Bloomfiled station, but having impure thoughts about glen ridge....
