Kearny is close a ten minute drive or 20 minute bus ride, for $1,500 you can get a nice 2 bedroom apartment with many community activities including toddler art and reading groups that are free, we have a walking district ( picture main street usa) with local shops drug stores, hair places, small grocery stores, florist nail salons, and a shopping area with kmart, modells sporting goods, petsmart, radio shack, bj wholesale. a note about all towns in e very state, domestic violence happens. There have been murders related to domestic violence in almost every town I checked. Kearny is so much better than places like Edison because we have such a diverse community and because we have areas that you can walk to and through. We have over 10 parks and another 7 playgrounds, we have baseball fields and soccer fields, we have a school designated a school of distinction. We are a small town with access to cities within minutes.
