Christie hits historic low in latest approval poll | NJ.com

Only 19 percent approve of the job he's doing. That's the lowest approval rating for a governor in a Quinnipiac poll in more than 20 years.

Many believe he should have been on trial for Bridgegate.

Who cares.

To be satisfied with a negative poll is not the political revenge we need to make better decisions in the future. some of the loudest accusers are themsleves stomach turning charlatans. It's like watching inmates feigning disgust at another inmates crime.

Trial for a lane closure makes NJ look like the joke the politicians and electorate have made it.

The priority of crimes and corruption needing justice in NJ, as directed by holier than thou legislator's who deal in legal and illegal corruption, make 'bridgegate' appear as a multimillion dollar taxpayer joke.

Politicians fear not, the befuddled and confused voters will embrace you heartily while you pick their pockets. It tickles and makes them smile.

Death rate in this land of tough gun laws and deaths from heroin take a back seat while political hacks make it seem a blocked road, which is a daily occurrence, is the crime of the century.

Pound on CC for his gas tax approval and the rest of the legislators who bamboozled the voters with that election flyer's misleading interpretation of the proposed law change to 'dedicate' funds.

a poll does nothing to improve QOL in NJ.

It's interesting how Christie gets such low approval compared to Obama, who was able to simulataneously destroy several regions of the globe and basically screw up everything (probably on purpose it's so bad).

Regardless, I sincerely hope we vote in a Trump-esque governor this time around. Remember, Pence had to purge Christie and his lackeys from the transition team. The political scum are of both parties. No more establishment Dems or Reps please!

Just yesterday, I defended our esteemed governor. One of my neighbors said that Chris Christie isn't fit to sleep with pigs, and I insisted that he is.

He's like 50-50. He was for trade "deals" aka scams, and foreign wars, but good everywhere else. If Pence wasn't chosen as VP it would be difficult to legislate. Likewise, Priebus will be used to communicate with DC. Some of these people are needed as underlings, but never in positions of big political power.

Also keep in mind that Christie's issue isn't really bridgegate (any of you people slamming Christie criticizing Obama for funding terror?), it was inability to do anything to counter how badly crooked Dems f***d this state up.

It's not the lane closure in itself, it's the corruption to even do something like it. Was it the fact that Democratic Headquarters in the Watergate building were broken into, or the coverup? Was it the blue dress? or the affair in the Oval Office, or being asked if you cheated on your wife and denying it? Or was the WHOLE thing just a politcal show?

Blocking 3 lanes to 1 in NOT a daily occurrence, morning traffic is bad enough at the GWB.

Pound on CC for being the bully he is, telling people who ask about Sandy funds to shut up and sit down, or the public employees he made a "deal" with over the pensions, (not getting into an argument over pensions, just the "deal") and then he reneges on it.

He's just a fat POS, not even Trump wants him around.

I gave up on him after he approved the 300m to fix a state house. I have they put in a lot of gold. Otherwise, I do not see how it could cost so much if there is no corruption involved.

You hung on to long.

I gave up on him when he approved the .23 gas tax.

He's dead to me.
