I guess it depends on your water. Ours didn't get squeegeed all of the time and it didn't ruin the glass.

Or just don't worry about it and have spotty doors. If you've got hard water, you can get the spots off if you work at it; if you've got acidic water you should probably do something about it.

you need a tub. Just look at how many people here think so. You will be losing more than 50% of potential buyers

i have two kids under 3, you need at least 1 tub in the house, preferably in the guest bath. Shower only in the master bath is fine (what we have).

wow, I think using a squeegee after every shower is maybe OCD I clean once a week, CLR makes a bath and kitchen cleaner that works better than any other cleaner I used before and keeps shower doors clear as when you first had installed, costs more but worth it.

Everyone's sensibilities are different. From my perspective, why invest thousands of dollars on frameless glass showers only for them to consistently have water spots all over? They especially look awful if you have a window in your bathroom and sunlight hits them. We also keep our stainless steel appliances spotless. Is it OCD? Perhaps, but our house sure does look nice, and that's how we like it.

And it's not just for asthetics. Eventually, the mineral content that creates those water spots will permanently etch the glass if left on long enough.
