Will be in Cape May for an afternoon soon and would like to find a nice place for lunch. Any recommendations?

I rec' the Ugly Mug and the Mad Batter.

Ugly mug has a burger topped with either shrimp salad or crab salad with melted provolone cheese on top. Drool....

Mad Batter is equally as good. Cannot quote a specific lunch item bc/ of a horrific champange hangover that day

I second the Ugly Mug-good beer selection as well. Has anyone ever been to the Blue Pig Tavern at Congress Hall? I've always wanted to try it and never got there.

Third on the Ugly Mug. We used to go often when we still lived in NJ. We will be in Cape May this summer and we are making sure to get there for a burger and a nice cold beer!

Make sure you make your way up to Margate City to Robert's Place for the best buffalo wings in NJ. They put them on a tray, you can also order steamers this way. A great concoction there is their chicken and spinach sandwich. I ordered that one time and it was great.

For a lite lunch I'd totally reccommend the Mad Batter.

For more of a dinner, I'd reccommend The Washington Inn.

The Lobster House!! I just had a gorgeous lunch there last week, I highly recommend the Fisherman's Wharf Platter.
