I will likely be relocating for work down to the Neptune area from northern nj.

I'm looking for suggestions for towns to live.
Not looking to buy anything, just renting is preferred.
I'm single, no kids, 30's, would love to live on the beach, prefer to have walkable areas, restaurants, some nightlife but nothing obnoxious.
Also would be a plus if it were not a ghost town in the off season.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

First look for "winter rentals" than after you know the area you can make a choice.

Asbury Park and Manasquan for sure. Long Branch is neat but not much in way of nightlife besides one or two bars at the West End, and Inkwell is a dry late night spot. I also knew folks that lived in Bradley Beach and loved it but there's not so much nightlife there.

The shore will always kinda clear out in the off season . Some places are worse than others but its worth keeping in mind that most people are inside during the winter anyway, no matter where you live.

Perhaps just slipped his mind.
God knows i'm guilty of it, notwithstanding it's still kinda rude to those of us contributing thoughtful, & sincere replies to inquiries.
