Hello,

I would like to know if there is any public transportation from Jersey City to Pompton Lakes and vise versa. I am thinking about getting rid of my car when I relocate to Jersey City? Also, from Jersey City to Allentown PA?

Not directly. There are buses from PABT to those places, so you'd have to PATH/subway to PABT to get a bus to Pompton Lakes or to Allentown PA. How often would you need to make these trips?

That sounds awful. If you need to drive to Pompton Lakes and Allentown, keep your car. Or at least rent one on the days you need one.

Not for work but just visiting old friends from time to time. That's what I thought to go NY to the Porth Authority and go to Allentown, but I didn't know that I can take a bus from NY Porth Authority to Pompton Lakes?

is Port Authority NY the only option to go to Pompton Lakes or is there another option to go there from Jersey City?

thanks so the only way is from Porth Authority. Well I don't mind the distance I used to take the bus from Allentown to NYC at least once a month.

Pompton Lakes is a heck of a lot closer to NYC than Allentown! Pompton Lakes is 30 miles from the city. Allentown is 90.

Of course you can take a bus. People from Pompton Lakes commute to the city for work.
