Hello - I will be moving to NJ shortly from India and this is my 1st long term visit. I came across this wonderful forum - however I am left more confused than I was earlier.
My requirements are pretty simple (?)
1 Bath 1 Bed apartment should be good enough
Rent range ~1200 USD per month - inclusive of all other charges such as parking,AC and electricity can go upto ~1500 USD
Wife and 1 kid will be joining me next year so i am not very worried about the school district etc.
Must be close-by however need not be in walking distance to stores such as CostCo and Indian Grocery stores etc
I hope to have the apartment furnished already - however i am OK if I have to get the furniture myself
I am also looking for a Car and some furniture(sofa,Bed etc) if the apartment is not furnished.
I am told that Indian communities mostly stay near Parsippany etc however I am not really looking for Indian communities per se. I am not limited in my approach to making friends from other nationalities etc.
