I have no idea where you are getting your information, but it has been proven time and time again that conversion therapy does not work. It has been proven that trying to make someone something they do not identify with can be psychologically damaging to the point of being life threatening.

We already assign ADD to any kid with energy and see no problem with obliterating their consciousness with Ritalin and other drugs. And now we are going to allow people with a psychotic fracture from reality who need psychiatric care to change public policy to conform to their illness? No. Normalizing psychosis is not in the best interest of our country or society. Treating it is.
