I've actually sold an old twin box spring on Craigslist before (and a bunch of other trash that I thought was worthless). You might be able to sell some of it on Craigslist, or at least give it away for free (and require the person to take all of the items).
OK, I called our property manager. We have a contract with the company that hauls our trash, but bulk pickup is not included in the contract. People drive in here at night sometimes and dump stuff--mattresses, couches, all kinds of crap. It pisses us off, but we can never catch them. We have to call the company that picks up the trash and arrange for a bulk pick-up, which then charges the association extra for that service.
(In theory, I could drag the mattress out by the dumpster in the middle of the night and make it look as if someone else did it, lol, but I fear my neighbors would spot me, and since I'm on the board here, that wouldn't go over well.)
Anyway, she said I can call the trash contractor directly and pay them myself to have it taken away, so that's probably what I will do.

That's funny, because in our development people come in & pick up items that people who live here have thrown away!
Maybe those same people are taking our stuff & dumping it in your development. LOL
