Now a days you almost always need new rotors on the rear, due to the crappy quality of them from China.
If your brakes are as bad as you say, you will need new rotors.

2002 Altima, done Dec 2015 by a local gas station
Rear only done
Parts
pair Brake pads - $89
Brake rotors - $50x2 = $100
Labor - $150. (shop charges $100/hr)
Total = $339 for just rear

Sorry I meant a shop did mine. $150 was for labor.

Fair ??
Parts seem to be OK. But labor is high. Any auto mechanic can realistically do all 4 wheels in about 60 to 75 mins. So, maybe a 2-3 hr charge might have been OK, 4-5 hours is too much.

Yes, I paid 750 for front and back on a 07 Accord at Midas but got the lifetime guarantee and it was worth it,My youngest drove out to CA from MD and after a year had some break problems ,she found another Midas shop and they took care of it,free and clear it was covered.
