Hello everyone - I am looking to get Keratin Smoothening Treatment for my frizzy, unruly hair. Can anyone please suggest a good salon (and the cost if possible), in and around Jersey City and Hoboken in New Jersey? Thank you so much in advance!

There's a place in Hoboken called Keratin cafe. A former stylist at another salon opened it, it's just one chair and she just does Keratin.

Thank you so much....I just googled and found reviews on facebook, all rating as five stars. Even the pricing ($150-$200) seems fine unlike some jersey city salons charging $400+ for the treatment.

I also have friends that use the same hair stylist (he's a guy) that comes to their house to do Keratin. The all give rave reviews, but I don't have his information because I've never used him. And he's way cheaper--like $120 or something.

Join the FB Hoboken Mommies group and then you can search there. That group is a wealth of information for all kinds of questions like hair salons, vacations, local shops, just whatever relating to women.

I was trying to grow my hair out once like John wick or cullen bohanon on hell of wheels. I would have had to straighten it but I refused because i didn't want to put chemicals in my hair.
