Everyone's always talking about moving in late October...

We're putting up with the taxes because we have three kids and the schools they attend are pretty good. (Great, even, once they reach the high school.) As soon as the youngest graduates, though, we're out of here. It actually makes me a little sad. I love our town and our neighbors. No way we can afford to be here in retirement, though. We can barely scape by right now.

I agree. Were in the process of selling and looking at a new home in Morris County. If Murphy wins were going to be looking in Pennsylvania and ill put up with extra 45 minute commute.
Does anyone care Murphy was endorsed, by someone who is about to exchange a pants suit for orange jumpsuit? No not talkinjg about menendez, but that was a good guess.
Wonder if the clintons will seek the sanctuary of NJ after murph gets elected???
goldman sachs and NJ, puuurfect together!
The last GS guy sure cleaned up NJ's economic problems. didn't he? Murph will appply the GS template for economic success. CC had nothing to do after Jon was through solving NJ's economic woes and high property tax.
then again....maybe murph is a winner
from wiki...
"Murphy's position at Goldman Sachs when the firm had its IPO made his net worth top $50 million,
Raising NJ taxes seems a infintessimal blip in murphy world.
Living in such splendor and isolation, the elitist murph has no problem with anyone living outside his sanctuary. He can pontificate and dream up all sort of socialist fantasies and impose them on NJ taxpayers and feel good about it.
NJ is a sanctuary for goldman sachs and illegal aliens. Still seaching the web.... looking for a sanctuary for NJ taxpayers.
free votes, free dope, free edu, free medical for illegal aliens....something obama promised he wouldn't do, protection from the law...all on the taxpayers back. Meanwhile murph retreats to his comfy sanctuary.
There is no betterment to society or making a better world by operating on the principle of socially sanctioned theft and enslaving one group for the unearned and undeserved benefit of others.
Why not simply stick your kids on a plane to North Korea or Iran? Or worse, Sweden. I guess you want to kill them slowly.
"Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick... you can't savor all the little emotions..."
The whole taxes are sanctioned theft thing is a dead beaten horse. There isn't even a shred of bone or muscle tissue left to identify the poor horse. Just a long dried up red smear.
Our taxes pay for all manner of essential services and that cat is never going back in the bag.

Study history please. Cats return to bags. It starts with reintroducing forgotten truths and revising immoral precepts. Some of us don't accept what the majority accepts. And we change what is immoral and unacceptable. It happens all the time. And the moral sewer that we call being "progressive" will return to its bag also. After which it will be dumped and buried in the landfill of yesterday's human immorality. And it starts with discussion and that's why free speech is so important. TOTALLY free speech, not the SJW approved version.

You mean you won't stay if NJ goes back to being a "lies, injustice and THE NJ way of solving financial issues?" Come-on, you all would be allowed to be alive just so then the NJ politicians can legally raid your hard earned monies. You wouldn't want to deprive them that privilege would ya?
My advice: Just do the math of ALL expenses and what you're "trading" NJ for before potentially taking the relocation leap - I will follow my own advice if that comes to with me.
Yes I will be quite depressed if Murphy wins, but at the same time then hope that he raises the taxes on so many things by a lot that his voters will suffer and suffer some more - they would deserve all the negative they get by electing such a buffoon!!!

Perhaps I'm alone in my thoughts here but isn't this a discussion forum aka a place with freedom to openly discuss any civil topic?
If you wish to discuss why all taxes are sanctioned theft then you can do so without the libertarian catch phrases vomit.
And who knows if a lot of people starting moving out, then maybe NJ would start applying exit tax on all house sales if the seller is moving out of state.
