Like I said in my original tag line, I left Jersey 42 years ago, but of course still have emotional roots there, which is why this subject interests me. You have tried to make a change, and only you know what the details are about your business and so forth. But there are lots of people in NJ who have never even thought of making a change. Some of them could very easily get work elsewhere, but, still, they stay to pay those "extortion" taxes as another poster called them. When I was a little kid growing up there (in Milton), I always heard stuff about the crooked politicians. I suppose that's the reason why one of my best friends from high school (who lives in S. Plainfield) won't discuss politics with me at all. I confess I'm a political junkie. I may be naive in my thinking, but I believe there has to be a way for "the masses" back there to rise up and stop the outrageous tax system. However, I cannot offer a solution.
Well, maybe when you retire someday, you can sell out and move somewhere more to your liking. Jersey is a very pretty state from a natural aspect (when you leave the ugly cities), but those taxes........grrrrrr!!!!!!
