Please let me know how long your home has been on the market, what town you live in, and what your asking price is. I'm trying to see what the market trend currently is.

Are you serious???
Are you blind?
Are you seriously telling us that you have no idea about the "current market trend"?

I remember you posted the realtor.com ID#. I have to give compliments when due and Wiley you do have a pretty house. It just sucks that the economy is in the dumper. Years ago buyers would be knocking each other over to buy your house. Hang in there girl.

Thanks JM : )) I will hang in there a little longer - at least until the summer passes. If I'm not sold by then, I'm taking it off and waiting another year or two.
my house isn't on the market, but a few recent sales that I'm aware of:
house #1 - originally on market for $650, sold for $515 - took over 1 year (under contract right now)
house #2 - on market for $549K, sold for $540K - 30 days (sold about 3 months ago)
house #3 - on market originally $589K, dropped after 1 week to $550K, sold one week later - not sure of the price (wiley, this is the realtor's house I mentioned a few weeks ago) - under contract last week.
house #4 - originally on market for around $780K, dropped eventually to $630K, didn't sell to the best of my knowledge, it's in preforeclosure. the sign is not on the front lawn anymore. it was on the market 1+ year though.
in other words, it seems to be all over the map! i have neighbor pulling comps for me right now (i'm going to appeal my new assessment) so it'll be interesting what she comes up with.
