Bernie sold out. That's how much HE cares about what his leg-humpers cry themselves to sleep over.
Everyone can see through Bernie...never had a real job worth talking about, his first wife left him & his current wife tanked a college...but NOW they're living large.
You don't have to like the source, the facts are what they are.
I don't know about not collecting a paycheck (that he actually earned) until he was 40 years old, but I'm sure he released all of his tax returns while running against Clinton for the DNC ticket...and all of that can be found out to be true or false.
Bernie Sanders didn’t have a stable career after graduating from the University of Chicago in the early 60s, but he worked a variety of jobs (and collected paychecks) throughout the 60s and 70s. He was elected the mayor of Burlington, Vermont, in 1981.
Before that, Politco reports that Sanders worked as an aid at a psychiatric hospital, as a pre-school teacher for Head Start, as a property tax researcher for the Vermont Department of Taxes, and for a non-profit called the Bread and Law Task Force.
Bernie is the only one they fear because while he's not perfect, he actually represents the people. That's why they try (and fail) to tear him down with lies.

Not perfect? How about not average? How about putrescently mediocre? I guess it follows that this old Communist fart is able to attract fanboys who share his values and are likely to one day look back at lives similarly devoid of accomplishment and excellence. That's what happens to people who run on the fuel of envy and don't want to take responsibility for their own achievements.
Marx appealed to the same losers, and still does to this day.

Still trying to understand what Bernie has done for Vermont?
As a SBO, I have gone out of my way to personally help my employees (monetarily & otherwise) & give them second, third, fourth & fifth chances. I don't think you get that in a "size or two up" business when you are nothing other than an HR file.
They are still small enough to talk to the employees, but past the first few years when they are hoping that they don't fail. That's sometimes the sweet spot.
My son worked for an independent lube shop. After three fails, he became the manager. Total fail for him. They expected him to fix the hydraulic lines in the wash (and everything else) in the wash tunnel and completely overhaul their computer system. He did. Nothing. It would have cost them thousands to pay others to do that.
He couldn't afford to lose that job, so he did what was asked of him. He told the boss to stuff if when asked to fix the guy's personal laptop and home computers.
I worked for a couple of guys like that in the 1970s. Maybe one or two paid sick days at their discretion. The big guys aren't any better, but there are clearly defined rules.
He now works for a company which isn't going to go out of business any time soon and expanding. They've been around for a while--long enough to figure out what works and what doesn't.
I would have liked to work for someone like you. You appreciate the people who give you their best.
My depression era dad told me to earn my pay. I think I did.

What people,he didn't represent me ........not even close.Again I ask what has he done for Vermont?

I don't know, I don't live in Vermont, and I don't pay attention to politics there. Sanders supports the things I (and most people in this country) support including higher minimum wages, higher taxes on the wealthy, more public funding for higher education, nationalized health care, etc.
Again, he's not perfect, for example his foreign policy is far too hawkish, but I don't see a national politician that does a better job representing the people.
As someone who frequently deals with contractors and workers, I think minimum wage doesn't really factor because just about any kind of gig out there today in NJ is atleast $25/hr+

Not me, I favor no minimum wage, lower taxes on everyone, privatization of all education, and complete separation of state and health care. I don't want to become like Western Europe where people wallow in their own weakness and envy. And then use political power to make other people solve their problems.
That's why I hate a Bernie Sanders. It's a philosophy of envy, weakness, and personal failure. I don't want that in or for my fellow citizens. We do better when we expect more of ourselves and less from others.

Yeah, I mean, what's not to love about a health care system that's the most expensive and among the least effective in the world?
What's not to love about country with a declining life expectancy, a heroin epidemic, and a young population that can't afford to move out of their parents' basements?
What's not to love about a country with the highest incarceration rate in the world?
What's not to love about a country with a higher education system that leaves graduates with six figures of debt and few job prospects?
What's not to love about a country whose campaign finance laws have led to wealthy corporations and individuals setting policy agendas that neither in the interests of, nor supported by, the majority of constituents?
Yeah Marc, your capitalism is working just great. A few more years and we'll have an oligarch class and a peasant class, just like Russia. I'm not convinced that you wouldn't be just fine with that though.
