I am considering moving to Allendale, NJ and need information regarding Buses to Port Authority in NYC.
I see the Short Line Bus picks up in Allendale. Is there parking available at the bus stops?
Also what is the seating situation like. Will the bus be packed (standing room only) by the time it gets to Allendale or will seats be available? Many thanks for your help!

Check out NJ. TRANSIT as an option

New Jersey Transit

Busses can be compromised by weather, accidents etc
Train can take a bit longer but usually very consistent vs. a bus. Plus, you do not have to deal with the Port Authority building. Penn Station not great but way ahead of the dump the bus depot is. Train seats more comfortable if your line uses the double decker trains. The old red seat trains are not great
