Where to buy NICE Rugs?? (Paramus, Dover: sale, house, auction) - New Jersey (NJ) - City-Data Forum

I was wondering if anyone can tell me of a good Persian/Oriental carpet dealer or warehouse around Northern NJ?

on route 17 N , Paramus, right next to Nortons wallpaper store is a store. The owners are two brothers ine is marc, they will bargain too!

Or go to my favorite new store WHite House Furniture, Fairfeild NJ on route 46 W. They have rugs and the furniture is ohh my lord my new addiction. They have rugs hanging and are nice.

I know they're not in jersey, but this people always have great deals as well.

I usually go to Hoffman's in Hackettstown or if you want the "real deal". Berman's antique auction in Dover on Wednesday nights.

Bermans! haven't been there in years! Loved going there.

I tried there as well... very pricey! Hoffman's has a year end sale and I got some really nice rugs for almost 1/2 price! I am a good friend of the guy who own's Bermans.... He gave me a rug as a house warming gift. They do have some nice rugs and you can get them really cheap!

You're very welcome Marilyn, and no, I'm not the decorator, the wife is or at least she's good at it. She used to work at W.H. she's in Hackettstown now. Our favorite line at W.H. is Francesco Malone*sp, great stuff.
