Hi.. we found a house we love in freehold Borough. We are not from NJ so we are looking for some help finding out about the neighborhood. I am reading mixed reviews on whether it is a good idea to buy a house in the Boro. Thanks in advance for you advice.

Generally freehold township as opposed to boro would be considered a better investment.

Where in the Boro were you looking? Freehold Twp surrounds the Boro which is rather small. What street?

Freehold Township tends to have a better resale value than Freehold Boro. Also, not sure if you have children, but Freehold Township has much better elementary and middle schools than the Boro.
