the money will be spent/borrowed against before it ever materializes and then much less will be collected than projections.
i just find it amazing that people think they live in a free country and yet the government can stop businesses from offering betting on sports or anything.
If you're not a big sports fan and haven't been to a Sportsbook in Las Vegas, you just don't know what the energy is like during the NCAA tournament and football sundays.
It will keep a lot of people in AC instead of flying out to Vegas.
People aren't aware of how many people drive all the way down to Delaware from NYC just to place parlay bets.
