Here's how I would handle it...go up to them and say "hey, I said I would go for lunch but I don't recall saying I was buying lunch today"...and put a smile on your face with your hand extended it their direction : ) Do it now otherwise it will be expected later.

We collect first and we figure in the sales tax of 7% and tip for delivery person before we place the order cause some see $6.95 for the lunch special and forget about tax & tip

I totally understand. I used to have a friend that used to do this all the time! I think she still owes me about $20.

Just remember for large parties the gratuity is usually added in...but if you get excellent service you can always throw your server a few bucks more..
