Similar to Vintage Park development (details here //www.city-data.com/forum/new-j...brunswick.html) ,

KHov has started Timber Walk(Goolge map location https://www.google.com/maps/place/1+...!4d-74.4113642) : https://www.khov.com/find-new-homes/...es/timber-walk

We have been looking at East Brunswick area for a new single family house (max budget 950K) for a while now. We priced Boulder II model with them and with the upgrades it comes close to our budget so thinking about pulling the trigger.

K. Hovnanian® Homes seem like average builder with lots of negative reviews on google but that seems to be the case with Toll Brothers and other nationally known builders too.

1) Does anyone know about this area/location ? Do you know if any red herrings about the location ?
2) Any tips on negotiating price ? (they seem to offer 15K discount on upgrades but only when using their lender so not really a deal)
3) Has anyone dealt with KHov in NJ (either Vintage park or anywhere else) ? Any tips around how to best navigate thru the process would be helpful. For instance, how to avoid any pitfalls for the contract, closing date timeliness etc.

Thanks so much
