While this was going, zero planning for the storm, or even creating a contingency plan for the storm.

LOL!

Fact.

Not "semantics".

Who?

Sweeney.

When?

During the snowstorm of 12/10.

Is there a reason the grocery stores were like madness yesterday? Usually the madness is before the storms, not after.

NJ really was behind this storm at every level.

New Jersey, being the worst state in the Union and toilet that it is, "blamed the forecast" .....

............... that indicated it could be really, really bad, with high winds and road closures and disaster.

This is why it's bad to cry wolf at every snowflake when real storms do exist.

I repped you without meaning to, but that's all good. You have a valid point. The thing a lot of people forget is that some of us have jobs that are time-sensitive or necessary even in a snow storm.

Took me an hour to get from Chatham to Berkeley Heights, so I didn't have it too bad. The biggest issue was finding a spot where I could make a left-hand turn. Traffic was nose-to-nose, and at a dead stop. Once I finally managed to clear the two North-South facing streets that lead to Rte. 24 (and thanks to my off-road, lift-kitted Wrangler), I was okay.
