Does anyone have any experience/ advice regarding building a home in Upper Saddle River/ Saddle River? I know, for example, costs to build in Ridgewood NJ as we almost went that route, but don't know how much more difficult/ expensive it would be in the other towns. Are approvals hard to come by/ septic other issues?
If you can afford to build a house in Saddle River or Ridgewood then just hire an architect and he/she/it will advise you. You really want free advice from strangers on the anonymous forum?
Sorry isn't the point of this whole forum to get advice from strangers? =)
If anyone has actually done this I think its very helpful to hear some tips, or issues that people ran into.
To your point if anyone knows of an architect that has done a lot of work in the area would very much appreciate a referral.
I don't know if you bought the land yet, but Darryl Dator does a lot of work with land and building and selling new homes up in that area. She's a real estate agent. Would be worth calling her. She's a very sharp lady and she knows everyone. We talked with her once when we were thinking about buying a lot in that area
