We’re planning to move closer to Union county, living in Lawrence NJ right now, but don’t want to be in the city. We’ve looked into Somerset and Morris county but are not sure which one to live in or even which city/ Twp. Any advice regarding rental costs (max $3000-pm) and safety would be welcome... We don’t have kids and are in our 40’s.
Looking forward to some good advice.... thanks a bunch
I'm not sure where in Union you're looking to be closer to but I would also suggest looking at Essex County - Maplewood, West Orange, Montclair area. It's close to Union and has a lot of easy access to NYC, Hoboken and Jersey City areas. I'm a local agent so feel free to reach out if you have more questions.

Thank you for your reply. We’re looking to move in mid July, so please let me know how to get in touch with you and I will 😊
I have only lived in Union just over 2 years. don't know rentals in area, but I believe you would find
a nice location if you can expend $3,000 monthly, either rent or buy.....
