Yes because smoke and noise are just so desirable, right?
Oh and I know your reply already. Move, right?

Good for them. More places should follow.

Well, I'll have my leaf blower out tomorrow. It's my day off, so I can finally do some yard work. We have a bunch of sweet gums that have been dropping what we call 'monkey balls' for the last few months, and the last wind storm has meant a bunch of branches and twigs are all over the place, too.
What I dislike are the people who don't use mowers or leaf blowers if they have a yard with trees and grass. I'd rather put up with some noise than have neighbors who don't keep up their yards. And if the yard is a total mess, the house usually is, too.

Wow, good for them. Those things are from hell. Rake and get blisters like we had to.

I though I remembered that you had started that thread.
That's not my answer, Kreskin.

its really a psychology issue. you may be happier if you wouldnt let small things bother you.
looks like my grass company came yesterday and did some treatment on my lawn. i checked my cameras and all i saw was a guy walking across my driveway with a leaf blower.
ive been working a few hours a weekend cutting down trees and bringing the pieces to the street. i think im going to rent a stump grinder to get the stumps ive left. i think it would cost $500 for the rental including delivery/pick up.

We have very nice windows, I don't hear anything. That also means they're very efficient so we're not losing heat in the winter or AC in the summer.

When did the ban begin? Landscapers and homeowners are removing all leaves and tree trimming by hand? Sounds unreal. Not saying you're wrong, but come on.

A year and a half ago. They are, the ban is specifically aimed at them.
