Hi everyone,

We are considering purchasing a home on Ridge Avenue in Park Ridge, NJ. Is this a busy street?

Can anyone tell us the class sizes (student-teacher ratios) at the elementary, middle school and high school levels?

Finally, to those of you that currently live in Park Risge or grew up there, what was your experience like? Would you recommend it?

Thanks so much.

I live a couple of towns over but know the area well. Ridge is fine. Schools are fine. You'll do fine buying there.

Ridge Ave is a thru street that will have regular traffic. It is hard to say if it will bother you. The schools are decent like most of the towns in the area. The middle school (7th-8th grade) is combined with the high school and the high school is in the smallest athletic classification. Sometimes smaller high schools will not be able to support certain classes/programs/sports due to lack of participants in the school.
