I will be an election day poll worker tomorrow in a particular district in a particular town in eastern Morris County. Anybody else from here? Good luck if you see me, oh boy...
LOL, Retriever!!!
My friend does this. She is 78. Alas, different County.
No matter the county, almost all poll workers are elderly people.
I have a feeling that the theme of the OP's next thread will be something along the lines of... Why were the other poll workers all staring at me?

I worked the polls in a Union County district about 2 years ago and there were actually two other workers who were younger than myself in their 30's. It was a VERY LONG BORING, 15 hour DAY and we were only allowed an hour break for lunch. They frowned on us taking additional breaks. The pay was about $200 for the day, which I had to pick up myself. I was called to do it again last year, but chose not to. I may do it again this November since I will be off from my regular job.
