Just go to a farm, like Dreyer's farm in Cranford. Free and you get to buy and see them.

In Somerset, the County Parks Commission has a number of gardens with flowers.
For starters, we have the famous Rudolf Van Der Goot Rose Garden:
Somerset County Park Commission

In back of the Rose Garden, there is the Fragrance & Sensory Garden:
Somerset County Park Commission

A short distance away, is the Perennial Garden:
Somerset County Park Commission

While the roses are past their peak, there are other currently-blooming flowers in that area, including water lilies, and the Fragrance and Sensory Garden, as well as the Perennial Garden always have multiple flowers in bloom.

You can park at the entrance to the Rose Garden, and you can walk through it to the Fragrance & Sensory Garden. The Perennial Garden has its own parking area, but you can easily walk to that area from the parking area for the Rose Garden.

I've never been there, but I would bet that their annual and perennial beds and borders are lovely. I see that they have a peony garden! They're one of my favorite flowers.

You will definitely see flowers. The Garden State's garden has to be nice.

Yes, that's what njbg.org mentions "Skylands - the Garden of the Garden State."

Good idea but I am almost close to throwing in the towel so far as growing nice flowering plants are concerned thanks to the ground hogs, hares and what not. Some plants were gone the first night after planting and I know it's the hares.

And this time the hares were so hungry I saw them eating even the leaves of orange rocket barberry which has small thorns.

And then there is this hare which birth to a litter last month in my backyard and few days ago saw it gave birth to another litter.

I stopped planting a vegetable and herb garden because of the groundhogs.

Longwood Gardens in nothern Delaware is certainly unique. I live in southern NJ and I have been there many times. It is a former DuPont family estate. A friend took me to Longwood's firework show a number of years back. I will never forget that. No one there that night will ever forget it..
