That assumes that you live next to a place where you can park a Jet Ski in Jersey City (wherever such a place might be) and you work next to the place where you can park a Jet Ski in Brooklyn. And then take a shower and change on both side of the trip. That's an extra who knows how many minutes.

That's assuming one knows how to operate a jet ski.
Would you risk your life? If the winds are high or a big storm you could flip over. You can easily die of hyperthermia in winter. Shame on our state for not promoting for more ferry service.
